About WaterlooMathie:

WaterlooMathie from . Ontario, Canada: I'm in my mid-twenties and I've been doing sudokus for about 4 and a half years, although I've never competed in any sudoku tournaments before (I didn't even know any existed until I found this site). I usually play sudokus at sudokufun.com and have also been doing "hitori" and "kakuro" puzzles over the past 6 months. .

About QKV:

My name is Klára, I am 17 years old. I study guitar at the Conservatory of Jaroslav Ježek in Prague, Czech Republic , in the class of Mr. Milan Tesař. My hobbies are music (playing guitar, piano, singing and composing songs), squash, poi (some kind of juggling), in winter skiing and snowboarding and of course sudoku:) - For me it is a form of relaxation and it can at least partially replace mathematics, which I do not have as a school subject.

About ByronosaurusRex:

I'm a 23-year-old finance student from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and six-time World Puzzle Championship competitor for Canada (2000, 2003-07). Sudoku is just one of my many interests, but it's the one which I've done the most with so far; I also enjoy listening to music, playing various card, board and video games, reading non-fiction, and generally gathering information (read: browsing the Internet and watching TV). I'm a little bit disorganized (like an atom is a little bit small), and not particularly ambitious (or active), but I tend to make pretty interesting conversation from time to time and I think there's just a bit of a learning curve for prospective friends. I'm a very introspective person, perhaps to a fault.
About gauravkorde:

Hi.. I am 23 and finished my Chemical engg (to be precise Polymer engg). I like to play various sports from cricket, football, table tennis snooker etc. But my main hobby is to play drums. I also play in an extreme metal band in Mumbai. Floyd, zepplin, maiden ozzy etc are just few of my idols. I play sudoku for fun and like it for being a race against time. More importantly its great fun to participate in live tournaments with many other great champions.

WORLD PUZZLE CHAMPIONSHIP
As we have informed you Canadians fought very hard at Google US Puzzle Championship. First four of Canadians (you know who you are) have earned the right to go represent Canada at World Puzzle Championship in Antalya - Turkey this year. We had asked John Wetmiller - long time Canadian Puzzle Team coordinator and captain to help us with organizing this year Canadian representation, but unfortunatelly John is now very busy in his work so we have to prepare whole thing together. We would like to ask all four best at USPC to send us commitment letter before the end of July. We are sorry to inform you that so far we have not been very successful in getting any sponsorship for the team but we will be still trying our best. You all definitely deserve it. All of players who had already attended WPC before probably know the troubles of getting any sponsorship. This year Canada become first time a member of World Puzzle Federation which should bring some change in attitude of sponsoring people. Also, your results at USPC were just amazing.
